·   In Sandwell
o   The Yemeni Association in Sandwell
·  In Britten
          o  The British-Yemeni Society
Report:
Based on the research I have done, most of the Yemeni communities excite in United Kingdom in Europe. I found two official online Yemeni communities. Both the communities cover all the issues that will help the Yemeni’s families in understanding and creating friendship within the Europe community. Moreover, both the websites provide an update schedule of their events, news and activities that interest the Yemeni’s individuals. They take care of their education, heath, sport, and lifestyle. They take care of the young and elderly people and provide them clubs, competitions and jobs. The Yemeni Embassy also takes part of these communities. Moreover, both the websites are a charity websites and collect donations from anyone who would love to donate money. These donations are for the Yemeni’s communities there in UK because of the hard life they are facing there for being foreign to the language, environment, and education.

  1. It is interesting how most of the Yemeni communities are in the United Kingdom. This may mean that most Yemeni expatriates are actually in Yemen that other communities are not as big to deserve an online community. Otherwise, the reason could suggest a digital divide between Yeminis in Britain and those living on other regions in the world. Yemeni’s in British may be more educated and have easier access to the internet that they are able to construct such websites and keep track on their development. Other Yemenis abroad may be disadvantaged in that they have no online source that would make them informed and connected.

  2. This is interesting because I never knew that the Yemeni DIaspora would be found in the United Kingdom. I just thought it would mainly be in the Middle East. Also, it is good that the Yemeni community in the United Kingdom is very active community, this is a great opportunity for them to learn more and to become a bigger part of the Yemeni Diaspora.
