Diasporic websites for Pakistani community which I searched and liked were www.nicepakistan.com, www.apnakarachi.com, www.apnalahore.com, www.meraapnalahore.com and www.paktimez.com.

Apna Karachi.com is an interesting site as it helps people who live outside Pakistan explore about the culture and the latest events happening in Karachi. They have a chat room known as “gup shup” which means “chatting”. They have a submission column where people can write and submit articles, poetry, jokes and many other information.

Apna Lahore.com keeps the reader/ audience updated about the upcoming events on Lahore. In this site we can update pictures and can share with other people as well. You can make a profile with all your details. You can even play games with your Pakistani friends who are in some other county. This site even has a chatting room.

Mera apna Lahore.com is basically a site for all those Pakistanis who are living outside Pakistan. This has more information about Pakistani singers and concerts. On this site we can see if there is any concert of any Pakistani singers in any other country than Pakistan. This site has a blogging page as well.

Paktimez.com is a site where all the Pakistani people can update their own music, business information, home and garden information and tips to maintain them, health and medicines. It has all the upcoming events of Pakistan and we can even add if there is any event coming up in our country.

The site which I really liked and I joined is www.nicepakistan.com. This site has everything one wants to know about our country and be in touch with our own people. This site has a telephone directory, Pakistan travel, chat room, news, fashion, sports, for ex, food, entertainment, women’s corner, tv guide and many more interesting things. I cook food at home, so whenever I get confused about the names and recipes I go on this site and check out the proper ingredients and recipes instead of calling my mother or cook. I like the women’s corner because it has a lot of information about skin care, hair and nails. In this corner you can even ask for suggestions from other Pakistani women. This site tells us a lot about Pakistani fashion and the new trends as it uploads pictures of all the new designs and styles. On this site the jokes are really funny especially which are on different casts of Pakistan. This has amazing poetry and you can share it with your friends as well. When I went on the gupshup corner (chat) I saw a lot of Pakistani girls who live in the Middle East. This site is pretty decent and one can relate to it. It has a lot of good stuff on it. This site is very educational as it teaches you new recipes, poetry, latest news, fashion, sports everything is available on one site.
